Description: 

Pyramidal form with horizontal branches. Grey-green needles, 3/4" long with 2 white bands on the underside. Moist well-drained soil - dislikes wet feet. More heat tolerant than many species.

History: 

Published in J. Arnold Arbor. 1: 188 in 1920.

Native to Korea.

Introduced in 1905.

RHW Award of Merit in 1993.
