Variegated maple-like leaves with white margins. Orange flowers. Freezes back to the ground in zone 8. Prefers moist, well drained soil.
I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Woodlanders in March 2012 and planted it by the wall to the house in the Helipad And Tiers garden. It started growing immediately and became much bushier. By the end of the summer it was almost 8' tall. It produced flowers constantly but many did not open fully. There were also several stems that reverted to all green leaves. It returned in 2013 but not in 2014. In April 2014 I bought another plant from Woodlanders and planted it in the Daylily Fountain Garden.
