Description: 

Brick-red leaves, fading to olive green then gold to orange in autumn. Horizontal branches. 5 to 7 lobes on the leaves, large, lobes separated to the center. Color deeper in the center. Toothed margins.

History: 

Introduced by Vertrees, Oregon. Bud sport of 'Komurasaki'.
