Description: 

The only upright green dissected leaf cultivar. Bright green leaves with a pinkish tint in spring. Autumn color is mostly red purple. Vase shape becoming more rounded with age.

History: 

First record of cultivation is 1882. RHS Award of Garden Merit 2002.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 3-gallon plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in September 2010 and planted it in the autumn in the front garden. Some purplish tint to the leaves in autumn.
