Description: 

Rounded form. White flowers, 5 petals, on short branches in the leaf axils. New growth has red stems. Leaves are oval, small, opposite with serrated edges and oil glands on the undersides.

Leaves used medicinally, for stomach complaints among other ailments.

From Bot. Repos. (Diosma latifolia) ...requiring a dry situation, and rather more warmth than the rest... this is the highest grower, aspiring to three or four feet, or more, if encouraged; delights in peat earth, and flowers about the month of August.
