Other: Neotype: A. scrophulariifolia (Willd.) Kuntze. Greek 'agan' = very much and 'stachys' = ear of wheat, referring to the numerous flower spikes of the plants in this genus. Strong stems and nettle-like foliage with an aniseed smell. Flowers over a long period but short lived.
