Description: 

Dwarf habit and chocolate red leaves. Foliage is small, oval and shiny. Blue-purple flowers on spikes in spring.

History: 

Introduced by Valfredda Nursery in Italy.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 4" pot at Nurseries Caroliniana in May 2012 and planted it in the One Of Everything garden. It spread slowly to a 12" circle and bloomed profusely in April to May 2013.
