More heat tolerant than Allium schoenprasum. White flowers. Strappy green leaves. Deer resistant. Spread by rhizomes and self-seeding. Can be used as an edging plant or groundcover. Divide every 3 to 4 years.

My Experience: 

I sowed seed from Park Seed in spring 2009 and potted it up. I overwintered the plants outside in pots then planted in late summer 2010 in the Berm On the Border. They have become large clumps, blooming in late summer.
