Description: 

Flowers profusely over long period with tiny steel-blue flowers from dark blue buds. Oudolf says it collapses after rain but recovers and has slightly rampant growth but is not a nuisance. Moist, well-drained soil. Deer resistant.

History: 

Published in Voy. Inde (Jacquemont) 4: 105 in 1843.

Native to Greece and Turkey. Previously known as Rhazya orientalis.
