Evergreen fronds, finely dissected to 18". Slowly creeping rhizome. Called "upside-down" because the fronds appear to be upside-down because the veins are more prominent on the upper surface than the lower surface.
Native to Japan, Korea, China and Vietnam.
Imported from Japan by John Standish, a nurseryman in Berkshire, England.
