Category: Perennial

Zones: 9 to 10 hardy to 23F

Size: Up to 2' tall and 3' wide.

Description:

Beautiful soft, upright 'foxtails' with bright green color. It is a member of the Lily family and not a fern at all. It reproduces via seed not spores. Tiny white flowers, inconspicuous, followed by red berries, surprisingly large and visible.

My Experience:

I purchased a 4" plant from Thyme After Thyme in autumn 2009 and potted it up for the winter, keeping it in the kitchen window. I planted it out in the courtyard in the spring and then repotted it for the winter again.
