Description: 

Leaves dark green and slightly hairy. Lavedner to blue daisy-like flowers with a yellow center. Prolific bloomer in late summer to autumn. Needs good winter drainage. Attractive to butterflies and rabbit resistant (Oudolf).

Cultivars: 

'Monch' - Large violet-blue flowers with yellow centers over a long period into autumn.

History: 

Created by Karl Frikart in the 1920s at Stafa Nursery in Switzerland.
