Description: 

Small white flowers with yellow centers over a long period in summer to autumn.

Cultivars: 

'Prince' - Deep purple leaves with white flowers with a pink tint and purple centers.

'Horizontalis' - bushy form with white flowers with red centers in summer. Dark green foliage.

History: 

Published in Trans. New York Acad. Sci. 9: 11 in 1889.

Basionym Solidago lateriflora L.

Synonym of Symphyotrichum lateriflorum (L.) Á.Löve & D.Löve but widely grown and sold still as Aster lateriflorus.
