My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in June 2012 and planted it in the Wild Conservatory Garden. It was eaten by rabbits or deer (or both) so in spring 2013 I moved it to the Pool Lawn Border and it bloomed in September.
