My Experience:

I bought a 1-gallon plant from Nurseries Caroliniana in October 2010 to be the male to my Goldilocks - because I really want to see the peach-colored berries on Goldilocks. I planted it in the courtyard. It has grown quite well and looks better than the Goldilocks! Then suddenly in summer 2013 the leaves drooped, went brown and the whole plant died. When I dug it up there were nodules on the roots.
