Description: 

Leaves to 8" long, 0.6" wide, narrowly elliptical serrate. Tomentose new growth. Flowers in cylindrical spikes to 6" long and 2.25" wide, blue-grey in bud, pale yellow when open.

History: 

Published in Nuytsia 3(3): 467 in 1981.

Native to Queensland.

Originally found in the 1860s but not named. Then it was rediscovered in the 1980's.
