Description: 

Foliage resembles Eucalyptus. Grey-green, heart-shaped leaves, altnerate, to 3" long and inconspicuous yellow flowers in clusters at the branch tips in summer. Hairy pods in late summer contain seeds.

Native to Georgia and considered endangered.

I saw this plant at Plant Delights in Raleigh and therefore know it can grow in zone 7b.
