Description: 

Simple leaves, alternate, grey-green, glaucous, flowers on short stalks directly from the leaf axils. Flowers are yellow, blooms in April. Similar look to Eucalyptus.

History:

Basionym Crotalaria perfoliata L.

Perfoliata - stems run through the middle of the leaves.

Native to Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
