Description: 

Round, dense compact form, slower growing than the species. Deer, rabbit and drought tolerant.

History: 

Discovered growing in a bed of Berberis thunbergii var. atropurpurea 'Crimson Pygmy' at the Leo Gentry Wholesale Nursery in Gresham, Oregon in 1989. Patent issued in 1996.
