Description: 

Well-drained soil. Flowers in dense clusters, cream, from summer to autumn. Large, heart-shaped, grey-green leaves. Dies back to the ground in a cold winter. Propagate from cuttings in July and August. Attractive to bees and butterflies.

History: 

Originally collected by Yucca-do Nursery near Los Lerios, Cohuila, Mexico.

Published in Gentes Herb. 10(1): 71 in 1967.

Basionym is Buddleja tomentella Standl.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Woodlanders in March 2011 and planted it in the back garden.
