I purchased a 1-gallon (very small) plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in September 2010 and planted it in the back between the helipad and the house. It discolored a little in the winter of 2010 but was fine in spring and grew consistently each year. In late summer 2012 while I was away, it did not get sufficient water and one side of it died.
