My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant at Piccadilly Farms in May 2008 and potted it up to a 2-gallon pot until it was planted in the ground in summer 2009, between the helipad and the house where is gets afternoon shade. It did not grow much in the pot but has gained a few inches each year since planting. In April 2011 I moved it closer to the Bald Cypress because it was going to be too high under the window. Then in late August 2011 I moved it outside the pool fence near the blue bird post.
