Description: 

Most recognizable for its bright purple fruit in late summer to autumn. Loose open form. Flowers and fruits on current season's growth. Flowers relatively insignificant, pink, in summer. Berries in clusters along the stems, bright purple.

History: 

Native from Florida to Maryland.
