Description: 

Arching branches, small pink flowers and purple berries (more sparse than the species). Leaves are very variegated, blotchy white and green. Stable variegation.

History: 

Ted Stephens of Nurseries Caroliniana acquired this plant from a nursery near Tokyo, Japan that specializes in variegated plants. The name was suggested by Bob McCartney of Woodlanders.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 1-gallon plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in September 2011 and planted it in the One of Everything Garden. It did not leaf out in spring 2012 and the lower stems were split.
