Description: 

Star-shaped flowers on tall spikes, blue, in spring. Linear foliage. Flowers also in white or cream. Good for cutting. Tolerates wet soils, prefers spring moisture.

History: 

Published in Proc. Amer. Acad. Arts 20: 376 in 1885.

Basionym Chlorogalum leichtlinii Baker.

Native to Oregon, California and Washington in the US and British Columbia in Canada.
