Small white flowers, solitary, fragrant, early winter. Very floriferous. Can be maintained at 4 to 5' tall with regular pruning.

History: 

Published in J. Bot. 17: 9 in 1879.

Native to China.

Synonym Camellia yuhsienensis Hu.
