Tubular red flowers that hang down and long, narrow, dark green leaves that may 'fishtail' at the tips. Semi-weeping growth habit. Well-drained soil.
I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Woodlanders in November 2010 and planted it in the back garden. For the 2010 winter I covered it with a large pot on cold (<27F) nights. No fishtails and none on the parent. Bob McCartney at Woodlander's thought the fishtail may be a juvenile trait.
