Basionym Lespedeza macrocarpa Bunge.

My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in August 2012 and planted it in the One Of Everything garden. In spring 2013 it had a lot of bugs - the same as on Lespedeza thunbergii 'Spilt Milk'. It was then eaten by rabbits. It died to the ground in winter 2014 but came back slowly from the roots. In spring 2014 I potted it up to move it to the Pool Lawn Border and I replanted it in April. It grew well and then suddenly turned brown in June, all the leaves fell off and I thought it was dead. In late July I saw leaves again.
