Description: 

Very floriferous and large flowers - inherited from C. warscewiczii - and easy to flower - inherited from C. mossiae. Can flower at any time of year, unlike its parents. Used to create new floriferous hybrids.

Cultivars:

History: 

Registered and originated by Veitch in 1/1/1898.

Seed parent Cattleya mossiae.

Pollen parent Cattleya warscewiczii.

Seed parent of Cattleya Tityus, Cattleya Clotho and Cattleya Harbinger.

Pollen parent of Cattleya Luegeae and Cattleya Serbia.
