Description: 

Single, erect, grey-green leaf. Blooms in summer or autumn on short inflorescence. Flowers to 8.5" diameter and strongly fragrant.

History: 

Published in Xenia Orchid. 1: 29 in 1854.

Native to Venezuela.

Also published in Dict. Icon. Orchid. Cattleya plate 21 in 1899.

Lueddemann was a French orchid grower in the 1800s.

Hybridizing Characteristics:
