Description: 

Very narrow leaves, 20" long in large clumps. Semi-evergreen, cool season grass, with early summer inflorescences on very tall stems above the foliage. Needs very well-drained soil in hot humid climates. Best suited to cooler summers. Deer and rabbit resistant.

History: 

Native to Spain, Portugal and Morocco. RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2009.
