Oval to rounded form, arching branches. Prefers moist well-drained soil. Leaves to 2.5", fragrant. Does not tolerate strong winds. Deer resistant.

History: 

First discovered in Duke Gardens in 1958 (NC) as a branch mutation of 'Fastigiata'.
