Tight mounded form. Very slow growing - to 1" per year. Well-drained soil.

History: 

Introduced from England in the 1920s where it was raised at the Rogers Nursery in 1915.

RHS Award of Merit in 1980.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 4" pot from Plant Delights in June 2011 and planted it in an open-bottomed pot by the helipad. It died in summer 2012.
