My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant in October 2009 from Nurseries Caroliniana and planted it in the perennial bed. It has done well, holding up to the heat and cold. One of my favorites. In spring 2012 it was very burned and I potted it up when I exchanged the conifers for Euphorbias. In spring 2013 I replanted it in the Daylily Fountain Garden where it will get afternoon shade. It had a severe pruning to cut out all the dead wood and looked quite sparse.
