My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon plant at Nurseries Caroliniana in August 2011 and planted it in the 'One Of Everything' garden. It was doing well until spring 2013 when half of it went brown and did not revert back. I potted it up and babied it in the conservatory. I cut out the brown and saw new growth from the stems so I kept it outside in a pot with good drainage and afternoon shade in the summer. In July I planted it in the raised bed in the Triangle Island Garden.
