Description: 

Broad mats of blue-grey linear leaves. Purple-pink flowers, fragrant. Well-drained soil. Deer like them.

Cultivars: 

'Bath's Pink' produces a good burst of color.

History: 

Published in Hist. Pl. Dauphiné (Villars) 3(2): 598 in 1789.

Native to Engalnd, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Switzerland and the Ukraine.
