My Experience:

I purchased a 1-gallon from Evergreen in September 2011 and planted it in the perennial bed. The first flower was eaten by deer or rabbits. Came back in spring 2012. Did not return in 2013.

I purchased 2 x 3" pot at Nurseries Caroliniana in May 2012 and planted them in the Daylily Fountain Garden. They did not return in 2013.
