Erodendrum caespitosum Salisb. ex Knight

Family: Proteaceae

Genus: Erodendrum

History:

Published in Cult. Prot. 43 in 1809. The name of Caespitosum was suggested for this species by Mr. J. Niven, and is so applicable, that it would have been adopted in the Paradisus Londinensis, had the author known that circumstance. It was discovered on the mountains near Boshiesmans Pat, in black moist soil. Leaves crowded near the root, shortly petiolated...

Synonym of Protea caespitosa Andrews.
