Description: 

Tricolor variegated foliage, green with gold and cream centers, pale yellow flowers in early spring. Spreading dense habit. Deer resistant. Prune in spring immediately after flowering.

History: 

Discovered in a group of Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood' at Farmington Valley Nursery in Avon, CT in 1977. Patent application filed in 1989 by Harry D. Wilcox Jr.

My Experience: 

I purchased a 1-gallon plant from Rare Find in December 2011 and planted it in the 'In Between Garden'. It did not do well and in April 2013 I moved it to the One Of Everything Garden.
