I purchased 6 1-gallon plants in June 2009 and planted 3 of them in the Golf Course Hedge and 3 by the pool equipment. They struggled at first and I potted one up and replaced it with a new one in December 2009. In summer 2010 I removed those by the pool equipment and planted one near the screen porch. In 2011 I removed two of the ones in the Golf Course Hedge and the one by the screen porch, leaving just one, good sized plant in the Golf Course Hedge. That plant has bloomed reliably and grown well to about 40" tall and wide in three years. It is in full sun and irrigated.
