Geranium grandiflorum Andrews

Family: Geraniaceae

Genus: Geranium

Published in Bot. Repos. 1: 12 in 1798.

Synonym of Pelargonium grandiflorum Willd.

From Bot. Repos.: Of all the species of this numerous tribe, introduced to us, from the Cape of Good Hope, this stands singularly pre-eminent; whether for delicacy of foliage, or beauty of flower, of which, the most finished drawing would convey but a faint idea. The figure before us, was taken from a plant in the valuable collection of G. Hibbert, Esq. Clapham; from whom we understand, that it was sent in 1794 to the Royal Gardens at Kew, by Mr. F. Masson.
