Description: 

White to cream flowers with pink diamonds on the lower tepals.

Gladiolus with leaves that are linearly sword-shaped and smooth; blossom gaping ; segments very long, tapered to the point, waved and nearly equal, the three lower in the middle have an oblong spot. (Bot. Repos. G. cuspidatus)

History: 

Published in Mant. Pl. 1: 27 in 1767.

Synonyms Gladiolus cuspidatus Jacq. (also published in Bot. Repos. 4: 219 in 1802, Gladiolus angustus Thunb.

Native to South Africa.
