Description: 

Leaves pendulous, linear, dull green above, hairy below, to 16" long. White flowers on racemes to 4" long, fragrant.

History: 

Published in Cult. Prot. 58 in 1809. From Endeavour River, where it was discovered by Sir Joseph Banks. Leaves 5 to 8 inches long, almost linear with parallel nerves. Spikes very close, branching, Stigma somewhat peltated.
