Several different forms including prostrate, small shrubs to trees.

Grey-green divided leaves, orange flowers on racemes.

History: 

Published in Cult. Prot. 121 in 1809. This species was discovered by Sir Joseph Banks, near Endeavour River, and has never been in our gardens. Leaves 1 to 1 1/2 foot long, pinnatifid with linear segments. Spikes very long. Stigma very broadly conical.
