Description:

Light purple flowers in spring to autumn. Spreading low habit. Well-drained soil. Deer resistant.

History:

Southern Living Plant Collection. Athens Select Plant. Developed and introduced at UGA.

My Experience:

I purchased a 4" pot from Santa Rosa in June 2011 and planted it in the Octagonal Perennial Garden. It grew steadily but did nothing spectacular. It returned in 2012 but was not particularly noticeable in the perennial bed. It performed well each summer and in autumn 2014 I tried to dig it out and plant it in the Croquet Lawn Bed. There was not a lot of root with it.
