Description: 

Many branched slender scapes, numerous flowers, to 3" diameter, orange. Blooms in summer to autumn.

History: 

Native to China.

Published in Addisonia 14: 31 in 1929. Described from plants sent to the New York Botanical Garden from China by Dr. Albert N. Steward in 1929.

Listed in Dr. Stout's book, Daylilies: The Wild Species and Garden Clones Both Old and New of the Genus, in 1934.
