I heard about this at a Ted Stephens talk and purchased one from him at Nurseries Caroliniana in November 2011. I planted the 1-gallon plant in the 'Abelias And More' garden. The deer nibbled on it and then it started to brown. I potted it up. The roots did not look good, perhaps too wet. It came back in the pot so I replanted it and it died.
