My Experience:

I purchased a bulb at GGIA in 2013. The person I bought it from told me I could flower it in a large hyacinth vase with all of the bulb held high and just about one inch of water in the bottom. I tried it and it worked. I got one spike immediately and soon after that one was cut, another spike began plus leaves, and then a third. I planted it in soil after and it bloomed heavily in spring 2014.
