Description: 

Dwarf form, 3' tall in 7 years. Bright red berries in autumn through winter. Needs a male pollinator (Ilex vomitoria 'Schillings' will work).

History: 

Grown by Ted Stephens at Nurseries Caroliniana in a batch of seedlings of Ilex vomitoria 'Folsom's Weeping'. Seeds sown in 1986 germinated in 1988. One seedling was much smaller and grew much more slowly. It first flowered in 1995 and had a prolific berry set.
