Synonym of Hesperantha falcata (L.f.) Ker Gawl.
In Bot. Mag. 15: 566 in 1801, Ker Gawl. cites Ixia cinnamomea Andrews under Ixia falcata, along with Ixia falcata L.f. Then in 1804 in Ann. Bot. (König & Sims) 1(2): 224, he describes Hesperantha for the first time and transfers his Ixia falcata to Hesperantha falcata, citing [IxiaCint] Thunb. which is synonomous with Ixia cinnamomea L.f. for Hesperantha cinnamomea.
